Welcome to the UK & Ireland Miss Earth Beauty Competition.

| The Miss Earth contestants are informed, goal-oriented and committed to playing a part in preserving and protecting the environment for future generations. Enter the annual search to find five Earth Girls who will proudly represent their country in Miss Earth® fulfilling the ideals of the competition - that beauty queens can be strong and effective advocates for Mother Earth. The UK & Ireland Grand Final crowning ceremony is held in September and is an event of style and glamour where women are empowered to focus on and promote environmental awareness for a clean, natural and healthy environment. During their participation they are required to plant trees, raise funds for their chosen charity, attend various environmental activities, voice their green thoughts, ideas, promote a healthy environment and educate people on the three R’s Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. 2009 Winner's ENGLAND 2009 | Kirsty Nichol SCOTLAND 2009 | Sarah Finlay WALES 2009 | Dominique Dyer NORTHERN IRELAND 2009 | Kayleigh O’Reilly Miss Earth awards four titles representing the four elements: Miss Air, Miss Water, Miss Fire. The Miss Earth title being the top award awarded to the overall winner of the England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland country titles. The five overall winners will represent their home country in Miss Earth and compete with contestants from over 90 countries participating. |
